LinkSwap (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is operated by LV Design LTD. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our link management service.

1. Information We Access

When you connect your Pinterest account to LinkSwap, we access the following information through Pinterest’s official API with your explicit consent:

- Your Pins: We read your pin titles, descriptions, and destination URLs to identify outdated links that need updating.

- Your Boards: We access board information to help organize and display your pins.

We only access data from accounts you explicitly authorize through Pinterest’s OAuth authentication flow.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the accessed information solely to:

- Scan your pins for URLs that match your specified “old URL”

- Display matching pins so you can review them

- Update pin descriptions and destination URLs when you explicitly request a replacement

We do not use your information for any other purpose, including advertising, profiling, or analytics.

3. Data Storage

In accordance with Pinterest’s Developer Guidelines:

- We do not permanently store your Pinterest content (pins, descriptions, images).

- We store only the minimum information required to maintain your authenticated session (OAuth tokens).

- Scan results are temporarily stored during your active session and are cleared when you disconnect your account or after a reasonable period of inactivity.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your information with any third parties. Your Pinterest data is:

- Never shared with advertisers

- Never sold to data brokers

- Never used for purposes other than providing the LinkSwap service to you

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:

- Encrypted transmission of all data (HTTPS/TLS)

- Secure storage of OAuth tokens

- Regular security reviews of our systems

6. Your Rights and Choices

You have full control over your data:

- Revoke Access: You can disconnect LinkSwap from your Pinterest account at any time through your Pinterest Security Settings:

7. Children’s Privacy

LinkSwap is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date.
